The principal attorney-track positions at the chambers — associate, senior associate, member of chambers, and founding member.
The chambers’ counsel track is built around four substantive grades: associate, senior associate, member of chambers, and founding member. Progression is competence-based and timed to the development of the individual practitioner.
The entry-level position for newly admitted counsel. Associates carry substantive work from the earliest stages and develop within the chambers’ pupillage programme.
The mid-level position for counsel who have demonstrated independent substantive judgement. Senior associates carry first-chair responsibility on routine matters and supervise junior associates.
Senior practitioners who carry substantial first-chair responsibility across the chambers’ disciplines. Members are practising principals in all but title.
The chambers’ most senior counsel. Founding members lead instructions, develop the overall practice, and participate in the Council of Members governance.
