The chambers’ associate roster is small by deliberate design. Each associate is mentored by a member of the chambers, carries substantive work from the earliest stages, and develops within the chambers’ pupillage programme — the structure that has produced the majority of our current senior members.
We do not run an associate factory. We invest in the associates we accept and we expect each of them to become principal-grade counsel in the disciplines they choose.
