Michael Hutson

Defence where criminal law, financial regulation, and cyber risk all attach to the same facts.

Practice

Michael is a founding member of the chambers. His practice sits at the intersection of criminal law, financial regulation, cybersecurity and privacy, and complex dispute resolution. He is instructed when the question is not which legal regime applies, but how to manage exposure when criminal, regulatory, and civil consequences all attach to the same set of facts — and when the decision made in the first week sets the parameters of the strategy for the following two years.

He is called to the bar of Massachusetts, New York, and the District of Columbia, and advises in English and German.
