His practice is centred on higher education — the universities, accreditors, professional bodies, and policy institutions whose decisions shape the working life of the modern campus. James integrates regulatory advice, institutional governance, employment matters, and federal policy advocacy in a single instruction.He appears before the U.S. Department of Education, congressional committees, and state regulators. He has written widely on accreditation reform and federal student-aid policy, and he has taught higher-education law as an adjunct at two leading American law schools.James is called to the bar of Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and New Jersey.
